Kristin, a retired physical therapist, dedicated 30 years to helping patients improve their physical well-being and build meaningful connections. Her career, marked by a genuine passion for working with seniors, prepared her uniquely for this role. The inspiration to join Caring Transitions came during a personal experience of cleaning out her mother's house after her father's passing. The overwhelming nature of this process highlighted for Kristin the critical need for supportive and compassionate relocation services, making her decision to join Caring Transitions both personal and professional. Kristin's background in physical therapy allowed her to build strong relationships with her elderly patients, listening to their stories and understanding their life experiences. This empathy and dedication are now the cornerstone of her approach at Caring Transitions. She is excited to transition from physical therapy to providing a new kind of support to seniors, helping them navigate the complexities of downsizing, organizing, and relocating. Kristin’s aim is to offer a seamless service that eases the stress of moving, ensuring that clients can focus on their well-being and cherished memories. Brad Goodroad complements Kristin’s expertise with his extensive background in emergency services and logistics. After retiring from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, where he served for 27 years, Brad now works as the site director for Terex Bidwell in Canton. He will play a vital role in supporting Kristin’s efforts at Caring Transitions while balancing his responsibilities at Terex Bidwell. Together, Kristin and Brad are committed to serving the Sioux Falls area, including Yankton, North Sioux City, Mitchell, Tea, Harrisburg, Sioux Falls, Vermillion, and surrounding communities. They bring a heartfelt dedication to their work, driven by their personal experiences and a shared commitment to making transitions easier for families. With their combined skills and compassionate approach, Kristin and Brad are well-prepared to support their community through life's challenging changes, offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to alleviate the burden of relocation and downsizing.
